Part of K2M’s commitment to being an ethical company is complying with the myriad laws and regulations, both state and federal, governing the health care industry. Navigating and complying with these laws and regulations can be tricky. K2M invests resources, including people, time, and money, to ensure the company is in compliance.
One area that K2M carefully monitors and governs is our physician relationships. Physician and industry collaboration is of crucial importance in the development of innovative technologies and the enhancement of old ones for the overall benefit of patients. As the headlines constantly remind us, this is also an area of potential abuse and conflict of interest. K2M supports the transparency principle behind the law commonly known as the federal Sunshine Law and works hard to be transparent and ethical in all of its dealings with physicians.
K2M places great emphasis on creating a culture of open communication and any K2M employee or representative should always feel empowered to raise concerns or report problems. For individuals who may be hesitant to come forward with concerns, K2M established an anonymous reporting hotline, which can be accessed by opening the link below.
K2M’s Code of Conduct applies to all employees of the organization, including officers, directors, and employees of the Company and its subsidiaries and affiliates. The Code of Conduct is a summary of the policies, procedures, and practices that govern K2M’s business management and conduct.
Visit the Code of Conduct Page for more details.
