Dr. John KostuikDr. John Kostuik

John Kostuik, MD, serves as Chairman and Chief Medical Officer. Dr. Kostuik was previously the Chief of Spine Surgery at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He also served as President of the Scoliosis Research Society and the North American Spine Society in which he was an original member/organizer. Dr. Kostuik is recognized as one of the world's leading teachers and authorities on spine surgery. He has authored numerous papers ranging from the basic sciences of spinal pathologies to analysis and comparisons of advanced spinal technologies and patient treatments. Dr. Kostuik has been the keynote speaker at almost every major spine society in the world and has trained over 150 international spine fellows of which an estimated 145 are in active practice.

Mr. Eric MajorMr. Eric Major

Eric Major is the President and CEO of the Company. Mr. Major was previously the President and CEO of American OsteoMedix (AOM), a minimally invasive spinal device company. AOM was sold to Interpore International in 2001. In 2001 and 2002 Mr. Major served as President of the Minimally Invasive Division for Interpore. Mr. Major has over a decade of experience in spine; prior to AOM he served in various sales, strategic and product development capacities with various spinal companies which include; Acromed Spine, Ascuelap Spine and Synthes Spine. Mr. Major holds a BS degree from James Madison University (JMU) and is a regular guest lecturer to Business programs at Columbia, JMU and Penn State University on the topic of entrepreneurialism.

Mr. John Andres Mr. John Andres

John Andres was Chief Patent Counsel, Associate General Counsel and V.P. of Business Development for U.S. Surgical, where he gained extensive knowledge of medical devices and business/patent strategies, and Vice President and Chief Patent Counsel of priceline.com. In 2004 John founded John C. Andres, LLC, a patent strategy consulting firm, and also became a partner of Hawk Healthcare, LLC, a transaction management consulting firm. John holds degrees from Rochester Institute of Technology (A.A.S.), Lehigh University (B.A.) and Pace University Law School (J.D.).

Mr. John AndresMr. John Cleary

Mr. Cleary is Chair of Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal LLP's Medical Devices Practice and a member of the Corporate Department and the Venture Technology Practice Group. Mr. Cleary is engaged in a diverse corporate practice representing both public and private companies encompassing mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, and securities transactions, as well as joint ventures, strategic alliances and general corporate representation. He is also active in advising privately-held venture capital funds with respect to their organizational structure, the issuance of securities and investments in portfolio companies, having structured numerous funds with varying capital structures over the past several years. Mr. Cleary has also represented companies in connection with the public offering of their common stock and compliance with securities laws applicable to public companies. Mr. Cleary works actively with emerging growth and other technology companies with respect to accessing capital from venture capital firms, investment banks and other sources of capital, as well as working closely with members of the firm's Intellectual Property & Technology Practice Group with respect to the development, protection, commercialization and enforcement of intellectual property rights. Mr. Cleary is a Certified Public Accountant and has a Masters in Taxation from New York University School of Law.

Mr. Keith J. LongsonMr. Keith J. Longson

Keith is a member of Ferrer Freeman & Company, LLC. Prior to joining FFC he was a Vice President at JP Morgan with responsibilities in Global Health Care Investment Banking. Prior to joining JP Morgan in 1994, Mr. Longson held positions at Putnam Associates, a health care management consulting firm, and the health care investment banking division of Smith Barney. Mr. Longson is a member of the Board of Ernest Healthcare, Inc., WebMedx, Inc. and Preferred Care Partners Holdings, Corp. He is also an observer of the Board of Concentra. He holds a B.A. degree from Boston College and an M.B.A. degree from Columbia Business School.

Mr. Lewis ParkerMr. Lewis Parker

Lewis Parker serves as a Strategic Advisor to the Company. Mr. Parker has been a director of the Company since July of 2004. Mr. Parker was a member of the Board of Directors of DjOrthopedics (NYSE DJO), where he served from 2003 until its sale to private interests in 2007. He was a member of the Board of Directors of Interpore International (NASDAQ: BONZ) from 2001 until its sale to Biomet in 2004. From 2000 to 2001, he was a Director and Chief Financial Officer of American OsteoMedix. Mr. Parker began his experience in the orthopedic business in 1991, when he joined Kirschner Medical Corporation (KMDC) as its Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Later, he was named President for all of Kirschner's orthopedic operations. Kirschner was sold to Biomet, Inc. in 1994. Prior to Kirschner, Mr. Parker was President and CEO of ProScience Corporation, a company he founded to engage in the application of high technology biology to veterinary diagnostics. From 1976 to 1987, he served as a Vice President of Hazleton Laboratories Corporation (NYSE: HLC), where he began as Chief Financial Officer and later became President of the American laboratory subsidiary. Mr. Parker is currently a principal in Lochinvar, LLC, an organization engaged in turnaround consulting, and in Parkwood, LLC, a venture investing firm. He holds a BS degree in Engineering from Lehigh University and an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Mr. Thomas M. PattonMr. Thomas M. Patton

Tom is currently CEO of Informed Medical Communications, Inc., which provides targeted educational marketing services to doctors and patients on behalf of bio-pharmaceutical customers. Tom is also a consultant to Ferrer Freeman and a Co-founder of QDx, Inc., a diagnostic development company exploring new methods of hematology analysis. Previously, Tom was the President of Novametrix Medical Systems, Inc., (NASD; NMTX) a worldwide leader in cardiopulmonary monitoring, from 2000 until its sale to Respironics, Inc. in 2002. From 1998 to 2000, he served as the President and CEO of Wright Medical Technology, Inc., an orthopedic device company located in Memphis, Tennessee where he led a successful turnaround of the company and orchestrated its recapitalization led by Warburg Pincus. From 1993 to 1998, Tom served in various capacities at Wright Medical including as General Counsel and EVP of Business Development. Tom was a litigation attorney in the Washington, DC law firm of Williams and Connolly after graduating from Georgetown Law School and Holy Cross College. Tom serves on the Board of Directors of various FFC companies and was formerly a Director of Osteotech, Inc., (NASD; OSTE).
